Oakeshott Type XIX Sword of Castillon Type / Castillon Sword

France / Fifteenth century

Straight blade with two wires of a lozenge, grooved at the center of the fort, the heel with two lateral grooves; hilt with straight arms with ball end, apple onion, handle missing. The surface rust but the property retains much substance.
