In excavated condition, with broad tapering blade with rounded point and shallow central fuller almost to the point on each side, one side inlaid with a latten cross towards the forte, hilt comprising quillons of square section widening towards the tips, flat tapering tang, and slightly compressed chamfered wheel pommel with ovoidal button finial.
