Editor's Note: This sword straddles Oakeshott Types XII and XIII but I having to choose one I have opted for XIII because the fuller is closer to half length than 2/3.
Central Europe around 1250.
Double-edged blade of lenticular section, the upper half with double-sided groove. Slightly curved quillons, the ends widened and tapered. Flat Angel with a slightly oval disk pommel. Unidirectional more corroded, guard and pommel with remains of encrustations (Textilanhaftungen?).
Length 100 cm.
