Oakeshott Type XII with Brazil Nut Pommel

10th/12th Century

In excavated condition, with broad tapering double-edged blade with central fuller over most of it length on each side, hilt comprising straight quillons of thick square section, flat tapering tang, and Brazil-nut pommel.
