Silvered & Gilt Straight Double Edged Turkish Sword

Description: Earlier, straight, single -and false-edged blade, with two grooves becoming one at the foible; at the first part gold inlaid inscriptions in Arabic among floral motifs on a side, and a Turkish arsenal stamp on the other (tamga). Gilt, solid silver hilt with cross quillon, langets, and slightly curved, faceted grip; decorated with bas-relieved, floral engravings.
