Oakeshott Type XVa Hungarian Épée Bâtarde / Bastard Sword

Editor's Note: This sword is possessed of the classic features of a bastard sword: a long sword of one hander length coupled with a two hander grip.

Also worth noting is the globular pommel not unlike those found on Hungarian/Steppe/Avar sabres; a pommel type not typical for cruciform swords but occasionally seen in Eastern Europe and Byzantium.
