Origin: Germany Dating: XIVth century Description: Sharp blade of triangular profile with a diamond shape, old collection number "E.6"; hilt with straight arms rising into the square section solid rectangular central ends with small buttons, big apple disc with circular cavities (old number inventory marked in white 112); original wooden handle covered with leather, thickened in turns in the middle. Provenance: Karl Gimbel, sale of the June 3, 1904 in Berlin by Lepke's, cat. nr. 358 with ill. (Copies of the pages of the catalog). Another ill. show the sword in the collection room.
