Description: Straight, double-edged (almost parallel) blade, with a fuller on two-thirds of its length; tang of rectangular section narrowing toward the edge; straight quillons of rectangular section. Pommel shaped as a Brazilian nut. Typology XI-a. See The Sword in the Age of Chivalry, by R. Ewart Oakeshott, Lutterworth Press, London, 1964. Typology XIIa. Note that the fuller does not run all the way under the guard, an unusual but not entirely unknown feature of some medieval European cruciform swords. Dimensions: Length 104.6 cm.
