This example measures 84cms long in its scabbard. Out of its scabbard it measures 71cms and it carries a strong 57cms long blade. The forged blade has a thick "T" section spine with a single fuller to both sides running beneath the spine and sharp, thick beveled cutting edged. The hilt is carved horn with faceted steel fittings. The grip strap shows various fine designs to its surface. The scabbard is a stitched felt like hide over a timber inner. The steel fitting to the base is faceted and bound with an iron strap and ends in an iron fitting. Source: www.swordsantiqueweapons.com/forsale.html
