Heavy 15" curved wedge section blade with flamboyant up turned point and integral tang with three holes for grip mounting. Stable encrusted condition with no substantial losses other than the grip scales. A true Gothic sword and equivalent of the civilian hangers worn in later centuries. The name translates to house defense as it provided the primary defense for the commoners homes. It was worn on the left front cross drawn.
