[/URL] Found in Hungary. A 7th/8th century example.A straight single-edged blade with a double-edged point. A short iron sleeve at the base of the blade. Short, straight quillons. Slightly curved tang with one intact grip rivet and a hollow work, bronze pommel. Cleaned excavation discovery. A smaller example than is typical for this type, perhaps intended for an infantryman? Length 85 cm Source: www.hermann-historica.de/
