Oakeshott Type XVIIIa Medieval Sword Circa 1350 - 1400 A.D.

Double-edged blade with flat grooves in the upper third. Both sides with remnants of an engraved cross within a circle. Slender quillons with square cross-section, slightly inclining towards the blade. Strong, slightly tapered tang with lozenge-shaped, two-piece pommel. Length 105.5 cm.
