Sassanian, Iranian Tribal, or Hunnic Long Sword

Sassanid / Hun, 4/5 Century. AD Double-edged blade with a long bent tip, flat guard and tapered tang.

Conserved and somewhat restored condition. Found in the eastern Danube region in the 1960s. Length 93 cm.

Provenance: Private American Collection, ex Hamilton White, England.
