Description: A PHILIPPINES KATIPUNAN SWORD
Philippines Revolutionary period, the horn grip with pommel carved as a fully-modeled head, reminiscent of a Bulul figure, with brass guard, ferrule and tangband. The long, undulating blade finely wrought with median ridge. Latter 19th century. Light wear, losses to horn. Overall length 82 cm.
