    A German hand-and-a-half sword, circa 1520/30 Robust, double-edged blade, an x-shaped copper mark within the fuller on both sides. Iron crossguard curved towards the blade with pear-shaped, spirally fluted terminals and large guard ring on one side. Leather covered grip with pear-shaped pommel of six spiral flutes. Length 123 cm.
