The sword has a straight, double-edged blade, the first part having a central fuller and the signature IOHANES WUNDES SOLINGEN GLORIA between two stamps depicting ‘globus cruciger’ and ‘Wundes’ stamps (king’s head with crown).
The outlined tang has deep grooves at the margins. The beautiful, iron mounts are decorated with silver-inlaid floral motifs and beaded bands, while the end of the quillons, the pommel and the grip feature hollow decorations and pierced wedges.
