18th Century Ottoman Dagger Shears

"Ya fettah" (God, the opener of all ways) is carved on the handles of this pair of iron shears which is also decorated with rich floral motifs of inlaid gold. The blades are grooved inside. Similar shears are in the Imperial Collection of the Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul.
10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm) long.
