I was recently watching a Russian historical swordsmanship channel on Youtube and I noticed some swords I've never seen before that looked really cool. In one demonstration he was wielding a two handed curved sword in a manner similar to what is done in Katana fencing. I also noticed a straight one handed sword that had a hilt similar to the kind found on Ottoman swords. Everything was in Russian so I don't know the names of anything I saw and I didn't have a clue what the guy was saying. I'm familiar with swords like the shasqua and kindjal but other than that, historical Russian swords are a mystery to me. If anyone knows about them or has links with good info about them please share!
