Western films and television are full of people who take steroids, amphetamines and a myriad of other supplements to cheat nature and achieve unnatural physiques. This article piqued my interest because it is a rare example of people working out using traditional methods, rather than gym equipment (which frequently build impractical showy musculature), and the participants aren't pumping themselves full of steroids. You only need to visit any gym in the Western World and if you're there for any length of time you'll see at least one steroid monkey. Steroids don't cause muscle growth and anger problems, they also turn your nuts into raisins and cause heart disease and vascular problems including erectile dysfunction, so traditional workouts and methods are of constant interest to me.
